The grind setting for your grinder, worked out
Every recipe, review and roaster's card is written for someone else's grinder. BrewMark gives you the number on yours: its own clicks, numbers or rotations, for every brew method. It also helps you choose a grinder in the first place.

Who makes it
BrewMark is just me, Jeff Gluck. I built it for my own brewing and work on it in my free time. There’s no team and no investor, so every number on the site is one I’m answerable for.
When one turns out to be wrong, it goes in the corrections log (14 so far) with what the page said, what it says now and who caught it. If your grinder’s setting disagrees with mine, I want to hear about it: each grinder page has a form for exactly that.

How the numbers are made
Every grinder is placed on one shared scale, the grind index, from 0 at espresso-fine to 100 at the coarsest setting. Five reference points pin each grinder’s own dial to that scale: espresso, moka pot, filter, French press and the coarse end. Settings in between are read off a curve through those points: a smooth one for conical burrs, straight lines for flat burrs.
For 46 of the 73 grinders, those reference points have been checked against the maker’s published grind chart, and each check is recorded. The rest are marked unverified on their pages. Every number is a starting point, not a promise: burr wear, the coffee and its roast all move the target, which is why each chart gives a range as well as a setting.

How BrewMark earns
Buying guides and comparisons link to Amazon to check prices. As an Amazon Associate, BrewMark earns from qualifying purchases. A link never changes which grinder ranks first, and prices on BrewMark come from the maker or an authorised retailer, not from Amazon.
BrewMark hasn’t tested these grinders in person. Each buying guide compiles the maker’s specs and published reviews, with the sources listed at the bottom of the page.
