Grind settings, every brew method
Worked out from this grinder’s own dial curve — five reference points placed on a shared 0–100 grind index, interpolated with a monotone spline for conical burrs — rather than a one-size-fits-all chart.

The J-Max trades coarse range for espresso resolution, and the click density near the fine end is the whole point of the grinder. If you are using it for pour over you are working in the middle of its range and will find it forgiving; if you are pulling shots, expect meaningful taste changes from two or three clicks. It will reach French press, but it is not what you bought it for.
