Turin now sells the DF64 Gen 2 as the Gen 2.7; the "Gen 2" revision names vary by seller. Option-O no longer sells the Lagom P64; it now sells the LAGOM P80, which it says keeps the P64's form with everything inside re-engineered. The settings on this page are for the P64.

The same number means different things
Both grinders use a numbered dial, which makes it tempting to copy a number straight across. Setting 5 sits at grind index 0 on the DF64 Gen 2 but 35 on the Lagom P64 — far enough apart to change the cup.
Converting a setting
If a recipe quotes a setting for one of these grinders, read across for the equivalent on the other. Rows are spaced evenly by grind size, not by dial number — on a conical burr those are not the same thing.

A 64mm flat-burr single-dose grinder that became popular precisely because it puts commercial burrs at a domestic price. Espresso is the design centre; the burr choice you fit matters more to grind character than the dial does.
Dialing in the Lagom P64
A single-dose flat-burr grinder built around burr swapping — the character changes substantially with the set you fit, so treat published numbers as approximate across different burrs. Stepless, so the settings below are targets.
