Two 1Zpresso models whose numbers do not mean the same thing. The JX-Pro counts 200 clicks; the Q2 counts 100 clicks.

The same number means different things
Both grinders use a clicks, which makes it tempting to copy a number straight across. Setting 50 clicks sits at grind index 1.9 on the JX-Pro but 55.4 on the Q2 — far enough apart to change the cup.
Converting a setting
If a recipe quotes a setting for one of these grinders, read across for the equivalent on the other. Rows are spaced evenly by grind size, not by dial number — on a conical burr those are not the same thing.

Dialing in the JX-Pro
External adjustment makes this the easiest hand grinder to actually dial, because you can count clicks without disassembling anything. Its filter range is generous, which is a mixed blessing — small click changes do less than you expect at the coarse end and more than you expect near espresso. Move in larger jumps for French press, single clicks for anything under filter.
Dialing in the Q2
Compact and travel-oriented, with a shorter usable range than the larger 1Zpresso grinders. Excellent for filter on the road; the coarse end runs out before French press territory is really comfortable.
