The same number means different things

Dialing in the JX-Pro
External adjustment makes this the easiest hand grinder to actually dial, because you can count clicks without disassembling anything. Its filter range is generous, which is a mixed blessing — small click changes do less than you expect at the coarse end and more than you expect near espresso. Move in larger jumps for French press, single clicks for anything under filter.
Dialing in the C2 Max
A larger-capacity C2, useful if you regularly brew for more than one person and tired of grinding in batches. Grind character matches the C2 — perfectly good for filter and immersion, tedious for espresso.
